Social Development department reiterates determination to increasing SASSA financial support

Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and commitment to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services all through an engagement with all the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% with the registered pupils within the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
